What is FlipSide?
FLIPSIDE is a project delivered by The Warren and Cornerhouse, offering a holistic model that delivers a range of interventions to children and young people aged between 11-19, to prevent them becoming first-time entrants to the criminal justice system.
Who can we support?
- Young People aged 11-19
- Young People involved in criminal activity
- Those at risk of being criminally or sexually exploited or groomed
- Low level controlling behaviour towards partners or family
- We also offer specific support to those who are Neurodiverse and are risk of the above.
What we offer?
- 1-1 support in a place that makes the young person feel comfortable, where that may be.
- We support young people with whatever is going on for them in a trauma informed way
- We promote opportunities to make informed choices, be part of different communities and explore hobbies and interests.
What happens if your referral is accepted?
- Worker is allocated
- We make contact with you and the young persons family
- The young person will be offered 1-1 support and opportunities to get involved in positive activities.
