Adult Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) Service
The main purpose of independent domestic violence advocates (IDVA) is to address the safety of gender inclusive victims who are at risk of harm from intimate partners, ex-partners or family members to secure their safety and the safety of their children. This service covers North Lincolnshire (all risk) and North East Lincolnshire (high risk).
Young Person's Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (YPIDVA) North Lincolnshire
The role of the Young Person’s IDVA is to support young people, gender inclusive aged 13-19 years or aged up to 25 years who have either been looked-after children or diagnosed with a learning, mental or physical disability.
Young Person's Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (YPIDVA) North East Lincolnshire
The role of the YPIDVA is to work with young people aged 12-18 years, who are experiencing abuse in an intimate relationship by a partner or ex- partner. The role also extends to working with young people aged up to 25 years who have either been looked-after children or diagnosed with a learning, mental or physical disability.
Educational Independent Domestic/Sexual Violence Advocate (IDSVA)
The role of the Independent Domestic/Sexual Violence Advocate (IDSVA) acts as a single point of contact, to support safeguarding leads and other staff members to identify and manage risk for children and young people, where disclosures or concerns have been raised.
