Youth Connect Launch
Youth Connect is a website for 11-to-18-year-olds seeking to explore new interests, develop skills and contribute to their community.
The Humber Violence Prevention Partnership is excited to launch Youth Connect, an online platform for young people across the Humber region: Youth Connect Website
Youth Connect is a website for 11-to-18-year-olds seeking to explore new interests, develop skills and contribute to their community. The platform is part of a strengths-based campaign to encourage young people to take part in positive activities as an alternative to being drawn into crime or violence.
How Youth Connect can help young people during the summer holidays and beyond:
• From sports clubs to art classes to volunteering projects, the programmes cover diverse interests to get young people active and involved.
• Many of the activities include practising skills, exploring new topics and discovering hidden talents.
• Whether it’s through team-based activities or group workshops, the activities help create a sense of community and belonging.
• The featured support services mean young people can access any help they may need.

Please share Youth Connect with any young people in your network who may find it useful.
The website will be continually updated, so we’re always open to activity and resource suggestions.
This project is being funded by the Police Science Technology Analysis and Research (STAR) Fund, a national fund which exists to support individuals and teams seeking to deliver innovative solutions to current and future policing challenges, and the Humber VPP.
