This is a partnership between Humberside Police, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and every school across the Humber area.

The overall aim of the Safer Schools Partnership (SSP) is to ensure that the young people, staff, parents, and visitors to educational establishments have a safe environment in which to study, work and visit, and where young people can be encouraged to develop their full potential.

As part of this partnership, a local Police Officer is designated the role of Safer Schools Partnership Officer to act as a point of contact, at each school. Further details on the role of the Safer Schools Partnership Officer can be found within the Safer Schools Partnership Agreement.

Similarly, each school has a role to play in this partnership. There will be a nominated SSP school liaison staff member (principal and deputy) at each school and details around these roles can also be found within the Safer Schools Partnership Agreement.
