The Mini Police project is a fun and interactive opportunity for 9 to 11 year old children. The schools pick 10 pupils to become Mini Police and thanks to the hard work and commitment of the schools local PCSO’s, over a 7 week period the Mini Police take part in weekly lessons, such as:

  • Anti-Bullying
  • ASB
  • Celebrating Diversity
  • Crime Prevention
  • Online Safety
  • Crime Scene
  • Road Safety
  • Safe Strangers
  • School Parking
  • Social Responsibility

The benefits of schools and young people taking part in the scheme, include:

  • Breaking down barriers through engagement with young people
  • Building trust and confidence
  • Creating Partnership working with schools, academies and education authorities

The Mini Police also take part in their very own attestation, receive a Mini Police uniform and are given a certificate at the end of their course.
